Dorset Charity Horse and Dog Show

The Dorset Charity Horse & Dog show is an annual event, which is run on behalf of the Wimborne & Ferndown Lions Club. All profits will go to Dorset Charities and other worthwhile causes.

In the 2007 Show, we had over 350 Horses taking part and some 200 dogs. In addition, we had numerous Trade Stands, Ferret racing, Children's rides etc.

The profit of £3,000 was divided equally between Julia's House, a Children's Hospice, and the Wessex Cancer Research appeal.

For 2008 , in addition to the Horse and Dog events, we are also introducing Show Jumping and other entertainment activities in the main Ring, for the Public to enjoy.

The next Dorset Charity Horse and Dog Show will be on 19th July 2008 and will be held at Homelands Farm, Three Legged Cross, Nr. Wimborne, Dorset BH21 6QZ.

All profits from this show will be donated, equally, to Julia's House and the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
